Discuss five factors you would consider essential to ensure the success of a
lesson you were preparing.
Analyze the following lesson objectives critically, saying how they could be
more effectively stated, and why:-

c) Pupils should be able to understand the reasons why explores came to East
Africa.
Explain why it is important for a student teacher

Practical Work
Study the content of the primary school syllabuses for all subjects.
f) list the topics that overlap and indicate the subjects involved;
g) If you are a student teacher, record the information in (a) and plan how
you will handle these areas if you have to teach them in your teaching
practice.
Prepare a plan for a lesson which you intend to teach using the discovery
method.
Prepare a scheme of work on irrigation in Somaliland. Discuss it with tutor.
Observe a lesson taught by your partner. Explain how he or she introduced
the lesson. Discuss the suitability of the introduction.
