Hargeisa (SL Times) – A 3 day workshop on police station management was held in Hargeisa on 23-25 August 2003. The workshop sponsored by the UNDP and the German government was attended by sector and station officers from Hargeisa, Berbera and Borama.

Over 70 participants were reported to have taken part in the workshop which in addition to purely police work also covered such issues as the judiciary, human rights, small arms and landmines.

A similar workshop is expected to open today at Buroa Plaza Hotel.
