Hargeisa (SL Times) – Bashir Farah Kahiye, former governor of Awdal region for 1996 – 1997 died on Thursday in Hargeisa. He was 55.

Bashir has left a wife and 6 children. A man of high qualifications and extensive experience in the fields of education and community development, Bashir was given an official burial. May Allah rest his soul in peace and paradise. Amin.
