Dr. Abdi Elmi Obseyeh

A t least 7 weeks have passed unnoticed with a critical conversation about an issue which most of us have either been ignoring or have misunderstood. The issue is the “Yes” and “No” response of the high supreme court. Due to the House of Guurti’s extension. It is really unfortunate that our highest Supreme Court chair-person in S.Land make a false contraindication of complicate such a point. Such information seems very confusing and conflicting, and instead of trying to clarify it publically he (the judiciary chairperson) again put it on the other side. We have to avoid telling the community what some one really think and believe without not considering what our constitution says an issue.

I am sure these words served no other purpose than to frighten the people of Somali Landers who are enjoying a peaceful life. The more a judiciary committee discusses concerns of the constitutions with others, the better they can get a good decision. Enough time should be spent exactly how you would proceed the constitution of the country. Serious disputes must not be allowed, it may enable you to confront and deal with numerous dilemmas.

I was not expecting the supreme-court the two words (Yes and No) which the media has splashed across the local news paper, but I was waiting to reveal the just-facts of the constitution. I am very much disappointed because I did not dream that the chairperson of our highest court will behave in this way. Do we have lost the capacity of feeling or do we fail to see the mistakes of our Judiciary committee?

How do our communities believe everything that our (Judges) say in the future?!. I understand that it is not fair enough to neglect the constitution’s obligation and any one who has heard such news would have noticed the mistake, and if there was no other body before me, I just thought to bring it to your attention. Of course, “it is not time that I believe an orange Juice comes from a cat” it is time to bring your home an orange tree and figure out how you can shift the gears of your life fairly and honestly so that you are not traveling differently.

I should think that there never can have been a man who enjoyed his profession more than a doctor. A doctor is always restless in his mid, diagnosing, operating and treating his patients. In my institution, we have a typical network.

  • In this sense- We have a continues training process in which we have to correct the nurse’s sterile techniques and the health care of the patient.
  • A laboratory assistant, how to measure Blood sugar and blood urea,
  • the cleaner how to sweep the floor ( corridor and clean the windows)
  • A medical assistant how to recognize the early stages of malnutrition

This continued teaching is of course a very important and valuable to human beings, and what we do is only what we know, but unluckily our Judges are hesitant of their Judgment.

During this week members of the Parliament had discussed and raised some of the weak points of our constitution, and I appreciated the very good point’s which our parliament have raised. This strong debate and discussion was from the Member of Parliament:-

1. Mr. Abdikarim Aw Ali Shabeel

2. Mr. Mohamed Omar Jiri

3. Mr. Ibrahim Jama Ali

Finally, I do hate and no body like such words like “ Qodobadaasi xeer kale ayaa qeexi doona” If at least these words are true, articles which covers these above mentioned words must be at the same time printed at the next pages of the current text-book of the constitution and must not be left out hanging. Because this will create a confrontation issue and model of dispute among the community. So again this is another issue to our Judiciary authorities to discuss and prepare suitable articles according to the law. Oh my God lead me from hate to happiness. Oh May Allah contribute a prevailing wind of fairness and justice to Somaliland.
