The Theory of Backwardness and Somalia/Somaliland Political Stage

Mogadishu, September 21, 2006 – Reports coming in from Eritrea indicate that the official state- run media in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea spoke about the recent explosions in Baidoa aimed at to assassinate the Somali president of the transitional federal government Abdullah Yusuf Ahmed who narrowly escaped the explosions unharmed.

The media report say the explosions were behind by critics of the Islamic Union which now in control almost the entire the southern Somali regions including Mogadishu, the Somali headquarter.

The Eritrean media quoted as saying, the Somali parliament continued its debate and session sooner rather than later the aftermath of the explosion at the entrance of the parliament building.

The explosion bang heard in Baidoa town and it's out skirts. This is political concert the media stated.

The official media of Eritrea which seemed to be in favor of the Islamic union (ICU) put the blame on the groups which are against the recent movements of the Islamic union in some parts of Somalia.

The Eritrean government asked itself the credibility and the possibility of the continuation of the Somali's parliament debate normally when there is bomb blast occurred at the entrance the parliament house, targeting to the president's life It is impossible to happen that,

The official media of Eritrea also described , the blame put on Al-Qaeda for the bomb explosion in Baidoa town, Somalia as animosity and ill-will which can not be justified.

Meanwhile, Eritrean arch-Enemy Ethiopia has already condemn those explosions hit in Baidoa the provincial capital of Bay region, which is also the makeshift capital of the Somali transitional federal government and described them as "the work of terrorists".

The Somali government has already condemned the attack as the act the terrorism and the footsteps of Al-Qaeda, describing the perpetrators as foreigners and would be pursued and the same time brought to justice.

Some government officials argue that it is new to Somali people such act, to commit suicide especially suicide bomb what they learned form the recent explosion was the work outsiders.
