Some two years ago in apiece authored by this writer of this letter took this title: To do or forebear not to do! Expectedly, unfortunately, now we are forbearing ‘ the not to do’ part of our sorrow situation, and in a big way!

Understand the consequences or not, that is what is happening right now in our country! Whether to perish or refuse not to perish is the question now, and we are all in it in this tragedy of a national scale. Some of us were the culprits of this national crime while the rest of us were and are watching this happening life with out stopping it and we shall sing the blues thereafter!

This state of emergency started before Mr. Riyale but president Riyale worsened it and accelerated it to the degree where it is now. Derailed the train and watching it run away. In all these times we were in a state of denial and that even worsened the already worse situation!

Riyale, and his crew created a national shame and brought calamites, and the rest of the society let it happen and watched it happening! The matter got out of hand! To save the nation we have to do the following:

• We must have eyes to see
• Ears to hear
• Mind to think and process thought
• Courage and guts to stop the house of Somaliland to crumble and come down!

To get these faculties you don’t need to buy them from any market and will not get them from anywhere! They are all in you. All you need is to activate them. They were dead, flat for so long. Plug them in and move!

On the call of reconciliation Mr. Riyale voiced lately, one may so cautiously call it a step in the right direction even when it came so late; provide he means what he says, and he never he meant what he says!

Aside of the many who may laugh at this reception of Riyales call and dismiss it as a political bluff and a usual lies on the part of the president as per his own record, despite all that I would like to welcome this step although how he presented it is way out the mark!

But before we think of any thing else we must realize, understand and acknowledge that there is a vacuum in our government, created by our pretend government, because there is no real working, thinking and honest government! Naturally the vacuum must be filled!

For this reason there is a lot of heat coming from the religious sect of the society who them selves watched the run a way train With us! But it seems that they ran out of (stupid) patience. Riyle and his crew are feeling that heat whether they confess it or not! And be-aware, that this molding and about to open up volcano is NOT, as they say and the rest of us followed, a Somalia made one. I believe the movement is a local one, and the enemy of Somaliland is too, therefore don’t they distort the facts in the ground.

To criticize the Molas and say they are bad for us is not enough when -the government is far more badly then any thing that is characterizes as bad! Let the government look it self in the mirror first, before they start finger pointing. The vacuum is there and it is ripe for some one to fill in. The question is how would we make sure that the wrong people must not fill in, as to avoid the worst!

The buck stops at Riyal’s desk! We are saying so because it is him and him alone who created most of the ills we witness to day, the devastations and the de-activation of the democratic process and demolition of the institutions Somaliland has been strived for, for so long! Mr. Riyale is the centre of gravity in all that went wrong, all that went bad! To make Riyales call for reconciliation and reconstitution of the government he is presiding meaning full the following must be pursued:

• The president must first and foremost call a national reconciliation and the reinstitution- of the nations institutions destroyed. To do that Riyale must show us the ‘GUDER’-honesty. The big question surrounds the honesty of the guy! Is he really honest for this country and this people? I am wondering!
• To realize that, he (Riyale) and not Mr. Bone or any one from the fifty or so ministers must lead the agenda.

The president must invite the following national groups with out any prejudice:

• The real Sultans and not the phony ones who play cabalism on his behalf.
• Religious community. The real ones as well.
• The elected leaders of the House of Representatives.
• The women community. Those who are in the knowing. Not the puppets
• The leaders of the political parties
• The business community
• Reputable intellectuals from in side and out side the country.
• Independent politicians, and lastly
• The shamed house of Gourti.

All of the above and not limited to the above must tackle to save the nation.

In that forum it must be declared in no uncertain terms that the Guurt’s term ends as per its expiration period, according to the constitution. And if there is any conscience left in them they must apologize to the nation. The president must join them in this apology, for he created the problem in the first place!

• A new national government of unity with a caliber and credible personalities must be born from this national convention proposed here and not just a talk.

Any thing else is a camouflage, cosmetic and will not yield any real results. Not only that the vacuum will be filled sooner rather than later, either by our Mulas or by Somalia instigated Mulas and I as one don’t blame any body to do the job, to fill the vacuum! Blame no one! Blame thy self-Somaliland!
