Quotation

(“Hadaba waxa muuqata – marka la eego habdhaqanka uu wasiirku kula kacay labada hablood ee Caarka ah ee uu shaqadii ay wasaaradda ka hayeen kaga eryey Jalaabiib ayay xidhan yihiin – inuu fulinayo dhaqan uu gurigooda kala yimi iyo colaad uu Aabihii ka dhaxlay labadaba, isagoo ah masuul qaran oo huwan sharaftii dowladnimo, taas oo ka reeban xilalka iyo masuuliyadda qaran, diinta iyo Dhaqanka dadka reer Somaliland By Xildhibaan; Xariir Bulaale).

These above hideous words belong to a man called Hariir Saiid Bulaale. Staggeringly this man is a member of Somaliland Parliament.

Mr. Hariir’s preposterous comments against the Minister of Information are very cheap, and idiotically blunder. His ludicrous remarks came after two female former employees made allegations against the Minister of Information Ahmed Haji Dahir by accusing him for preventing them to wear the Hijab at work. However this is only a contentious and unproved case so far. So why this man “Bulaale” had decided not only to villainies the Minister of Information but also to insult his entire household and easily get away with it? It was “astonishing” to read such offensive comments that related to someone who is a member of parliament. Mr. Bulaal’s unleashed condemnation against the Minister of Information are not justifiable” and should be censure.

It is not the first-time Mr. Ahmed Haji Dahir (Minister of Information) encounter a criticism “nevertheless this time his critics such as Mr. Bulaale gone too far and should be stopped. To criticize someone’s judgment is one thing if that is what Mr. Bulaale wanted to do. But to slur Minister’s whole family is another thing.

If vicious rumors used as an attests in order to diminish someone’s personality or their family life, then our society have a problem. Reading Mr. Bulaal’s nasty comments against the Minister one should wonder whether such individuals deserve to be in Somaliland parliament or not.

I also wonder whether Mr. Bulaale’s tongue pilfered his sick tribal inner thought or whether he deliberately inciting a hate against the Minister and his family.

He called for an urgent inquiry to be carry out against Mr.

Ahmed Haji Dahir, but I personally believe his own remarks should be question “and he should be held to account.

Mr. Bulaale accused the Minister having appalling habits, and he goes further by abusing Mr. Ahmed’s family and discrediting them as undignified household. How can this uncivilized and bad manners individual allowed to be a member of Somaliland parliament is beyond my imagination. But I know one thing; if callous politician’s comments get to the point where no ponders are safe, then there will be a national consequences. It is also obvious Mr. Bulaal’s comments are not only directed to the Minister and his family but his intention has far more deliberate calculation

We (Somalilanders) have same customs and same traditions “and what is consider to be bad behavior in Buroa, is thought to be bad in Borama or in Baki in a same measure. At least that is what some of us believe. On the other hand it is a sad fact that; there are some Somaliland opposition party members who can never restrain their ferocious tribal thoughts, and Mr. Bulaale is one of them.

In conclusion the only reason this imprudent individual (Bulaale) made these sorts of comments is because he can’t stand to see a successful Minister who doesn’t belong to his fellow tribal men. And that is why he so disgraceful condemned the innocent family members of the Minister.
