Kenyan Muslim heads have refuted that registration of young people going to take part in Somalia's jihad war against foreign troops in the country was going on.
Al-Haji Yusuf Morigow, a senior head for Kenyan Muslims, said there were no recruiting operations of Kenyan young Muslims in Kenya, calling the claim false and baseless.
Morigow pointed out that Kenyan young Muslims were busy by themselves seeking proper livelihood.
Kenyan government said it had obtained reports indicating that jihad recruitment operation was going on in its country in which young Muslims were planning to go to Somalia to take part in a holy war against Ethiopian troops in Somalia.
Somalia has had no government since 1991 when warlords toppled President Siad Barre.
