Will the new Ethiomalian Empire stop the never-ending Somali exodus?

By Mohamud Tani — Ottawa, Canada

It is a high time that the KULMIYE party sheds it's heinous image.   What has been projecting from the extreme wing of the KULMIYE party from its inception can be termed as nothing but politics of hate, anger, desperation, treachery, bigotry and fascism.   -Some flew over the Cuckoo nest to Mogadishu, saying "If we can not win let everybody in Somaliland be the loser"   -Some opened and operated their Radio Mille Collines in the Diasporra.   -Some chased their young journalists from their web-sites, because they were not good enough for their extremism.   -Some wrote a Position Paper saying that Djibouti is right and Somaliland is wrong.   -Some would like to join the Islamic Courts if they are given the chance.   -Some would like to eliminate the Guurti, the Court, the Election Commission and all the other democratic institutions of the nation.   -Some would like to see their only chance in life in a continuation of CIVIL WARS in the country. You would sometimes think that is the only art they know.   -Some would not shake hands with a man of their clan, if he is a Minister in the Rayale Government.

-Some would call the President of Somaliland that they want to replace A LIAR.   -Now some would like to cane the President, not because he disagrees with him, but simply he happens to be someone from another CLAN. Look at the psychology of the KULMIYE radicalism. What a Pity!

The radical wing of the KULMIYE party is a very dangerous minority, but they occupy the highest offices of the party. After the usually unquoted utterances of that clique has now been reported, and the face has now been given to what we usually hear from those quarters.   After   what has been clear to everybody always, but remained an open secret Agenda of the KULMIYE radicals has now been exposed.   I would think that it would be very imperative to the members of KULMIYE to change their leadership and their style.     That is   if they want to have any chance in existing as a respectable party in the politics of Somaliland.
