What Are The Issues That Surround The Selection Of The National Electoral Commission (NEC)?

It looks like the Imbagathi crowd also known as the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia ( TFG) are still playing games. Instead of attending to the serious problems they are facing in Mogadishu, they have been talking lately about Somali unity and starting talks with Somaliland. News reports have mentioned that the President of the TFG, warlord Abdillahi Yusuf had told members of his dysfunctional cabinet that he plans to open talks with Somaliland. The TFG’s man in Ethiopia, Mr Laqanyo has also been lately making some noise about Somaliland. The TFG would be better advised to seek the acceptance of the people of southern Somalia rather than waste their time on Somaliland which has already put its house in order long ago and is on the road to recognition.
