Ethiopia's Airline Of Checking Every Passenger's Luggage Is The Rightway!

There is an English/American saying " Better save than sorry" imagine if the maid of the Somaliland Parliament speaker was paid hundreds of dollars to place an explosive in his suitcase and that suitcase ends up in the Ethiopian Airline Cargo, and causes a disastrous situation for lives and property, what excuse would the Somaliland leaders would have had ? , except "sorry I didn’t know".
In post Mogadishu war of Ethiopia , anybody who took part in that War would take any opportunity given to him to harm Ethiopia and it's friends like Somaliland.
The people of Somaliland need the service the Ethiopian Airline provides to them since they don't have a national Airline of their own. And for someone who is elected by the people of Somaliland to serve them before his own interest and ego, to say that he would not obey the law and the procedure of the Airline to safeguard the lives and the safety of it's passengers and the people he represents is unacceptable and irresponsibility. The echo of Ali Warabe of UCID of the speaker's action also shows lack of leadership and responsibility.
President Rayale, before his departure to Europe and Ethiopia went through the Airline safety procedure and had no complaints, he deserves praise and complement for prioritizing the interest of his people, instead of his ego and interest.
In USA, my country, in post 9/11 era , any government member who flies with a private Airline is subjected to search and luggage checking to save the lives of the passengers . If my president , George Bush ,wishes to take Delta Airline/private Airline , from Washington, DC to Atlanta , Georgia he would not be immune to the Airline Safety procedure, and if he doesn't obey, he might have to choose using Air force one or the USA president Airplane.
The Ethiopian Airline is one of the many Airlines that serve the people of Somaliland home and abroad, but because of post Mogadishu War, it's has to take what ever necessary to protect it's valued customers and property.
We all Somalis detested and were against the War that Ethiopia was forced to take part in Somalia/Mogadishu, but Ethiopia is not the one who bears the carnage that took place in Somalia, the blame is on the Warlords who ruled Somalia for the last 16 years and held hostage the people of Somalia, the Warlords who were responsible for the formation of the Islamic Courts.
Bad leadership, selfishness, tribalism and the ignorance of the ICU, the TFG of the warlords and the warlords before the TFG are to blame and are responsible for Ethiopia to go to war in Somalia.
Ethiopia has been a good friend of Somaliland, since Somaliland has declared it's independent and withdrew it's union with Somalia. Ethiopia respects the wishes of the people of Somaliland, and has shown respect , works with the elected officials of Somaliland , and has economy and security cooperation with Somaliland.
Ethiopia has said many times that it's up to the Somalis to decide, whether Somaliland is recognized or not. Ethiopia is not in a position to recognize Somaliland, even thought she wishes if she could , because the bad leaders of Somalia and the enemies of Somaliland accuse Ethiopia of partitioning Somalia, for that reason the Ethiopians are right when they say " we will be the last country to recognize Somaliland" simply for that reason.
Ethiopia is the best friend and neighbor of Somaliland, and it's not acceptable for someone be it Parliament member or Political party leader to change the course.
If the bad leaders , the Warlords, the TFG of the warlords and the marching Islamic courts , are responsible for the Ethiopian involvement of Somalia, just because they failed to put their home in order.
Bad leadership/ignorance of the Somaliland officials can't change the good relationship between Ethiopia and Somaliland.
There is a Somali saying " sidii loo jabaa loo dhutiyaa” , "you limp the way your foot is broken" Which leads to, if the Somaliland leaders who are complaining about their luggage being checked by the Ethiopian Airline employees in Hargeisa, don't have their own private airplanes, they need to wake-up and smell the coffee, for the sake of the interest of the Somaliland people.
