President Riyale being warmly welcomed at Djibouti Airport by Prime Minister Dilleta Mohamed Dilleta

Djibouti, December 20, 2008 (SL Times) – A Somaliland delegation lead by president Dahir Riyale Kahin was accorded a warm welcome by the government and people of Djibouti on Friday.
Riyale left Hargeysa yesterday on a tour that is expected to take him to a number of countries in the Horn of Africa.
He arrived in Djibouti on Friday to a thunderous welcoming at the airport by top Djiboutian officials led by Prime-minister Diletta and a large crowd of Djiboutian citizens.
Accompanying Mr. Riyale are his ministers for Foreign Affairs and Finance as well as his senior advisor for military affairs.
The Somaliland president is expected to hold talks with Djiboutian president Ismail Omer Gelleh on bilateral relations and the security situation in the region.
After the conclusion of the Djibouti visit, Riyale will depart to Addis Ababa to hold discussions with Ethiopian Premier Meles Zenawi.
