Somaliland, May 16, 2009 (SL Times) – Somaliland President Dahir Rayale
Kahin’s security refused to allow Haatuf reporters to attend the
President’s press conference this week.
This happened after initially Haatuf reporters were allowed to go
through the outer gate. But once they were inside, the president’s
security refused to allow Haatuf reporters to enter the hall of the
press conference.
When asked why they were excluding Haatuf reporters, two individuals (Ige
and Yusuf) who were part of the president’s security said that Haatuf
journalists were not included in the list of names that the President’s
spokesman, Said Adani, authorized to attend the press conference.
