Ceelbardaale, Somaliland, May
23, 2009 (SL Times) – The Upper House committee mediating the conflict
between the two subclans that fought in Ceelbardaale, visited in Dilla
and Gebilay the people who were injured in past confrontations.
According to Ramaas News, the secretary of the committee, Mr. Abdinasir
Adan Beegsi said that they visited those injured in order to evaluate
their condition, and that during the visit, the committee was
accompanied by learned men from both sides.
The Upper House committee emphasized to the people they visited that the
two sub-clans are brothers, and that the young men should stay away from
any actions that will create problems between the two sides.
The committee is also in the process of evaluating the damage in
property that each side inflicted on the other.
