Borama, Somaliland, June 20, 2009 (SL Times) – USWO, a national organization, delivered hair cutting tools to Borama’s barbers. The tools were donated by DRC organization.
The event took place at Rays Hotel and was attended by the Mayor of Borama, Mr. Abdirahman Shide Bile, the Chairman of USWO, Mr. Abdillahi Hassan Digale, and members of the Borama city council.
Mr. Ahmed Yasin Osman, one of DRC officials that donated the tools to the barbers said the distribution of the tools started in Togdheer and Hargeysa, and the idea behind it is to support people of limited income and to improve the health safety of the barbers’ customers.
