2009 (SL Times) – Sheikh Abdiqadir Arab Warsame Sheikh Jabir, one of
Somaliland’s religious leaders talked for the first time about the Ihsan
Herbal Center, a clinic located in Hargeysa that uses religious and
herbal medicine to treat human diseases.

Ihsan Herbal Center was started in 2001 in Buroa, Togdheer Region. The
purpose of the center is to help cure the diseases prevalent in this
world, particularly inside Somaliland and the neighboring Horn of Africa
countries. It specializes in traditional methods of healing involving
the Islamic heritage. It also uses medicine derived from trees, plants
and herbs that have a long history of being effective in curing disease.
Ihsan Herbal Center engages in research for finding cures based on skill
and knowledge that can keep up with modern methods. Ihsan Herbal Center
cooperates with physicians. The purpose of Ihsan Herbal Center is not to
make money but to provide good quality medicine for the ill.
