Erigabo,
Somaliland, September 12, 2009 (SL Times) – Erigabo’s Surud school has
been experiencing an increase in enrollment that necessitated the
addition of new halls for three more classes. The project was financed
by CARE International.
According to Cumar Siciid Nuur of Hadhwanaagnews.com, CARE International
is in the process of building seven schools in Sanag region (two in
Erigabo and 5 in other parts of Sanag). Surud is one of the oldest
schools in Erigabo. It is an elementary and intermediate school (grades
1-8).
