Ali Sandule Becomes Minister Of Postal Services

Hargeysa, Somaliland, November 21, 2009 (SL Times) – Somaliland President Dahir Rayale Kahin appointed the Governor of Sool, Mr Ali Mohamud Ahmed (Ali Sandule) as the new minister of posts and telecommunications.
This new minister replaced the former minister Liban Duale Asayr who has been for the last six months in England for medical reasons. President Dahir Rayale Kahin also appointed Mr Farah Askar as the new governor of Sool region.
The new appointments were announced in a press release and are effective of Nov.15, 2009. The press release neither mentioned the fact that the new minister replaced Liban Duale Asayr nor Mr Asayr's illness.
