Has UN Mission In The Congo Failed?

Even The Hajj Can’t Escape Nigerian Fraud

Mecca, Saudi Arabia, December 5, 2009 (SL Times) – To say that Nigeria is well-known for corruption is an understatement. Corruption and fraud are so endemic in Nigeria, there is hardly an aspect of that country not touched by those two evils.
Nigerian fraudsters and con artists have not confined themselves to domestic activities but have extended their tentacles abroad as anyone with an e-mail account knows.
Lately, even one of the most religious Islamic rituals has not escaped Nigerian fraud when Saudi police caught a Nigerian man in Mecca, trying to exchange 22000 American dollars for Saudi riyals.
According to Haatuf Newspaper, a Saudi police spokesman said the man they caught is not the only one and they suspect he is part of a bigger ring.
