Sillanyo Urges Unity Against Terrorists

Hargeysa, Somaliland, December 5, 2009 (SL Times) – The Chairman of Kulmiye Party, Mr. Ahmed Sillanyo urged Somalilanders to take a unified stand against terrorists who want to destroy the peace in Somaliland.
Mr. Sillanyo said this in an interview with the Somali language newspaper Haatuf. He also said that it is necessary that Somaliland should have relations with its neighbors Ethiopia and Djibouti but they should not interfere in Somaliland’s domestic affairs.
Mr. Sillanyo added that Somaliland should not participate in conferences in the name of Somalia, but Somaliland should participate in international conferences to which it is invited.
