World Bank Delegation In Somaliland

Hargeysa, Somaliland, December 5, 2009 (SL Times) – A World Bank delegation arrived in Somaliland this week.
The delegation was welcomed at the airport by Somaliland Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Aden Muhamad Elmi (Dhoolayare).
Since the purpose of the delegation’s visit is to assist Somaliland in the fields of agriculture and livestock, the delegation also met with the Minister of livestock, Dr Idris Ibrahim Abdi.
The delegation’s visit is very timely because it comes on the heels of the lifting of the Saudi ban on Somaliland livestock, a decision that was very beneficial to Somaliland’s economy.
