Las Anod, Somaliland, December 5, 2009 (SL Times) – Somaliland security in Las Anod nabbed two alleged terrorists. The two alleged terrorists were apprehended at their homes where materials for explosives were found. The arrest of the two suspects was confirmed by Muhammad Suleiman Gooni (Sool Region’s Commander of Police).
Security in Las Anod was tightened last month after the Commander of the 12th infantry division of Somaliland army, Osman Yusuf Nur, was killed there.
