Las Anod, Somaliland, July 31, 2010 (SL Times) – The new Police Commander for Sool Region, Mr Ahmed Muhammad Gutale formally took over his new responsibilities in a ceremony at Las Anod Police headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by the former Commander of Police Mr Muhammad Suleiman Gooni, the Deputy Governor of Sool Region Mr Muhammad Abdi Dhinbiil as well as other officials. It is not clear if the reshuffle had something to do with the recent escape of several detainees from the Las Anod prison where they were being held.
