Women Street Sweepers Killed In Mogadishu

Mogadishu, Somalia, August 7, 2010 (SL Times) – Several women were killed when a remote controlled bomb was detonated as they were sweeping Mogadishu’s neighborhood of Boondhere.
The exact number of the women has not been reported. Nobody claimed responsibility for this savage action, but Sheikh Sharif’s Minister of State for Internal Affairs, Mr Abdirashid Muhammad Hidig said terrorists had committed this atrocity and pledged the street cleaning operations will not stop because of what happened.
