Earth Tremors In Borama

Borama, Somaliland, August 28, 2010 (SL Times) – Earth tremors took place in Borama and its surroundings this week. The earth tremors happened in the afternoon at a time when most people were sleep taking siestas from the afternoon heat.
The tremors resulted in the shaking of the windows and doors of houses and buildings but no fatalities were reported. Since Somaliland does not have earthquake measuring devices, it is not known how strong the earthquake was.
