Governor Of Sanag Region Meets With Regional Officials

Ceerigaabo, Somaliland, September 18, 2010 (SL Times) – The Governor of Sanag region, Mr Ali Abdi Hurre met with many government officials in Sanag region. The purpose of the meeting was for the Governor to get to know the various officials in the region and at the same time to send a message about the importance of improving the overall job performance of government officials. The Governor also revealed in the meeting that from now onwards, government officials will be required to:

1-     Work from 7 am – 2 pm

2-     Send reports to their ministry everyday 

3-     Submit reports about their job every six months.

The meeting of the Governor with Sanag officials comes on the heels of his visit to Somaliland’s capital, Hargeysa. This is the first time that the Governor met with Sanag officials since he was re-appointed as Governor by President Sillanyo.
