Abu Yasir To Export 2 Million Livestock From Somaliland

Hargeysa, Somaliland, July 9, 2011 (SL Times) – Saudi businessman Abu Yasir arrived in Somaliland this week. He was welcomed at the airport by Somaliland Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Farah Ilmi Geedoole, the Chairman of Inda Deero company Mustafa Abdi Awad, as well as other officials from that company.
Speaking briefly to the press, Abu Yasir said he intends to export about 2 million livestock from Somaliland during the month of Ramadan and all the way to the Muslim Eid celebration. He also underlined the excellent cooperation between him and the Indha Deero Group.
Adan Yusuf Abdi , the Manager of Inda Deero company in Maroodi Jeeh, said, Abu Yasir will spend two weeks in Somaliland. He also thanked the Saudi businessman for stimulating the livestock markets in Somaliland.
Indha Deero company owns a facility, which it constructed in Berbera, for housing and checking the health of livestock before they are exported to Arab Gulf countries.
