Khadar Akule Urges KULMIEY & UDUB To Mediate UCID’s Conflict

Hargeysa, Somaliland, August 6, 2011 (SL Times) – The President of USJ, Khadar Akule, issued a press release in which he urged KULMIYE and UDUB parties to act as intermediaries between the leaders of UCID party and help in finding a solution to that problem.
Mr Akule noted that although Somaliland is a young democracy, it has won the respect and admiration of the international community. Therefore, the international community is paying special attention to what is happening within UCID, especially since UCID had won 19% of the votes in the last presidential election. Mr Akule cautioned that the problem within UCID is a ticking time bomb, which will affect the two other parties, if it is not defused quickly. Mr Akule appealed to the President of Somaliland, Ahmed Sillanyo, to apply his extensive experience in handling tough crises towards resolving UCID’s problem.
USJ is a media organization.
