UDUB’s Crisis Worsens

Hargeysa, Somaliland, May 5, 2012 (SL Times) – Somaliland former vice President Ahmed Yusuf Yasin accused former President Dahir Rayale Kahin of being hell-bent on destroying UDUB, the oldest party in the country.
The former vice president added that he had filed a court case against the president and his allies regarding this matter.
Speaking about the coming election, the former vice president said that the people have gotten tired of Dahir Rayale Kahin and his associates and if the party does not put forward new faces, it will lose the election.
Mr Ahmed Yusuf Yasin made these allegations in an interview with HC TV.
UDUB party has split into two factions and the latest pronouncements by the former vice president shows that the problem is only getting worse.
