Somaliland President Meets With Governors

Hargeysa, Somaliland, June 9, 2012 (SL Times) – Somaliland President Ahmed Sillanyo met in with the governors of all the regions. In his meeting with the governors, the president was accompanied by the Minister of Interior Muhammad Nur ‘Arrale (Dur) and the minister of Finance, Abdiaziz Samale.
A press release issued by the government spokesman, Mr Abdillahi Muhammad Dahir (Cukuse), said the purpose of the meeting was to hear from the governors about the situation in their respective regions and to discuss with them how they could strengthen the peace in Somaliland and work with the various government departments.
